The 2020 festival will be on Saturday, October 10. Due to the current pandemic, it will be held virtually.

The generosity and sponsorship of the San Francisco Folk Music Club and The City of El Cerrito Arts and Culture Commission have made the annual El Cerrito Free Folk Festival possible. This diverse and lively event was founded in 2009 by then Festival Director and San Francisco Folk Club Secretary, Ken Hayes, to promote the arts in the East Bay.

The Festival Program

The Virtual El Cerrito Free Folk Festival will present a full schedule of performers  and workshops. There will be a full day of activities, with two main “stages”, two workshop “rooms”, a family program and an open mic with themed songs throughout the day.
