Joe Cadora has been playing guitar for over 60 years. He was a blues guitar student of Danny Kalb of the Blues Project, who taught him techniques passed down from his own teacher, Dave Van Ronk, and from Dave’s guru, Josh White. Most recently Joe has played with the Quarry Persons and with Sugar Mountain. This Blues Guitar workshop will teach basic blues forms, rhythm, and structure along with blues riffs and patterns in several useful keys. It will also teach blues turnarounds, the significance of the 7th chord, keeping the beat, and strategies for improving your blues playing.
