Quake City Jug Band started out as an authentic jug band in the 1990’s San Francisco Folk Club scene, but their sound and act has grown over the years to include snare drum, tap dancing, accordion, vocal harmonies, and feather boas. Their repertoire features 1920’s and 1930’s American blues, jazz and swing, a couple of songs in mediocre French, some very funny originals, and several covers of their favorite living jazz artists, Catherine Russell, Casey MacGill, and The Squirrel Nut Zippers.
